Length of Time to Complete
Each of the three required courses is offered online in rotating summer sessions and during academic year semesters. DR603 and 651 are offered as hybrid courses every other summer. DR931 and DR951 are offered as independent study courses (with online check-in meetings) and could be taken at any time during the academic year or the summer sessions.
At present, therefore, a student local to the D.C. area could earn the Graduate Certificate in approximately a year and a half. Online only students could complete the 3 required courses in one calendar year and pursue the independent study courses concurrently, or add two semesters, or summer sessions for the independent study courses.
This focused collection of courses, when completed, will afford students a record of distinct academic accomplishment in the discipline of drama as a learning method.
