Continue the Legacy

It's not the building that counts, but what happened here... to those who came before you and to those who came after you. Hundreds of people forged deep friendships and experienced what are now cherished memories. – William H. Graham, Sr.

In honor of our 75 + years of educating artists, teachers, and theorists, please support the ongoing and future work of the department.

No amount is too SMALL or too BIG! Every dollar makes a difference! If your experience as a Catholic University's drama student contributed to your personal or professional growth, please pay it forward.

Your tax-deductible contributions to the following will directly benefit Catholic University's Department of Drama and its students:

The Hartke Endowment

This is the chair’s discretionary fund that can be used as needed for the good of the Drama Department, focusing on scholarships.

The Dean's Scholarship for the Department of Drama

This scholarship funds tuition for one rising senior. It is awarded to Catholic University undergraduates who have demonstrated outstanding achievement during their college years.

The William H. Graham Young Artists Fund

This fund serves as a reserve fund for unbudgeted expenses such as travel to competitions and conferences, as well as for unforeseen emergency expenses that individual Drama Department students cannot meet on their own

The fund bears the name of Mr. Graham (1926-2013), who received an M.A. from Catholic University in 1954, and taught drama for 41 years, serving as drama dept. chair from 1977 to 1993. He founded the Master of Fine Arts acting program in 1970, which he directed until 1993.
