Michelle Washington is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Master of Arts degree in Theatre History, Criticism, and Performance, with a certification in Women’s Studies. She received a Masters Certificate in Arts Management from American University. Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Magna Cum Laude) with specializations in Production and Theatre Arts from the University of the District of Columbia. In 2007, Michelle founded her third theatre company, MMQ Theatre and Events Group, inc., a multicultural nonprofit arts of charity organization, based in the Philippines. In the Theatre Salon (Le Salon) Series, reflecting the salons of classical France in a contemporary setting, guests stroll from room to room, enjoying short theatrical performances throughout a charity partner’s home, creating a theatre space. She has served on the board of several international organizations, including the Asian Development Spouses Association (Programs Director), American Women’s Club of the Philippines (Vice President), and the Women’s International Club Paris (Programs Director).
