    Brenna McDonough has been a full-time professional film and television actor for over 40 years. In 1996 she founded ON-CAMERA TRAINING, a private studio for actors and business people interested in working on-camera. Her book YOU CAN WORK ON-CAMERA has been used as part of the curriculum at George Washington University, and the University of Maryland. Brenna designed and taught on-camera classes at NYU’s Department of Film, Video and Broadcasting. She also teaches on camera classes for Theatre Lab and Shakespeare Theatre. Brenna has provided on-camera and live presentational training to business people, corporations and government agencies.  Her performance career includes independent and feature films, commercials, industrial training films, and extensive voice-overs, in Chicago, New York, and DC.  Her television work includes roles on HBO’s, VEEP, HOMICIDE and THE WIRE and the Netflix series HOUSE OF CARDS. Movies include, Game Change, The Next Three Days, Enemy of the State, Head of State, and Guarding Tess.

    As a Chicago native she studied with Paul Sills at Second City. In New York she studied at Circle in the Square.
