  • Dr. Drew Lichtenberg has served as the Resident Dramaturg for the Shakespeare Theatre Company since the 2011-12 season, working on over 55 productions, from world premieres to plays throughout the Shakespeare canon. Dramaturgy credits: International: Les Blancs, Salomé (dir. Yaël Farber, Royal National Theatre); Broadway: Time and the Conways (dir. Rebecca Taichman, Roundabout Theatre Company); Off-Broadway: Macbeth (dir. Moisés Kaufman, New York Shakespeare Festival); Off-Off-Broadway: Hoppla, We’re Alive! (dir. Zishan Ugurlu, La Mama); regionally: Oregon Shakespeare Festival, McCarter Theatre Center at Princeton University, ACT San Francisco, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Baltimore Center Stage, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Yale Repertory Theatre. Writing and publications: Theater, Theatre Journal, Contemporary Theatre Review, The Piscatorbühne Century (Routledge, 2021) and a forthcoming book on the Shakespeare Theatre Company for the Arden Series. Teaching: courses at the Catholic University of America, David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University, and Eugene Lang College of the Liberal Arts at the New School.
