The Irish Summer Institute
The Irish Summer Institute is a five-week program directed by Dr. Patrick Tuite, Chair of the Department of Drama. The Institute enables students to explore the culture and theatrical history of Ireland while traveling to Cork, Kerry, and Dublin. The itinerary includes stops at sites of major historical, cultural, political, economic, and linguistic relevance. Students at the Institute learn how dramatic works have portrayed Ireland, its history, and its inhabitants.
Rose Bruford College, London
The Rose Bruford College program is open only to Musical Theatre and Drama students. Students there are introduced to intensive training in the modern British style. They also engage in unique artistic experiences in London, and learn to perform devised and immersive art forms with world-class faculty. This video showcases not only the scope of the program, but the wonderful community of international artists creating theatre. Students from Rose Bruford typically come to Catholic University for the fall, and then Catholic University students head for London in the spring semester.
