    Shanara Gabrielle is a theatre artist working in a wide variety of mediums with a focus on gutsy, inventive, engaging performance for all audiences. As an actor, director, educator, and arts leader, Shanara is keen to find points of intersection and discover new ways to shape the future of performance. Ms. Gabrielle believes in the transformative power of the creative arts, the potency of language, and the expressive connectivity of the human body. As an educator, she has taught at University of Maryland, George Washington University, University of Missouri, Webster Conservatory of Theatre Arts, Washington University, and St. Louis University, as well as many theatre companies and arts organizations. Ms. Gabrielle has worked at theaters across the country including Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, The Guthrie Theater, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and many more.  She has appeared in film, television, and many commercials and is a proud member of AEA, SDC, and SAG-AFTRA, and is a recipient of the Princess Grace Award.
